A lot of people have experianced difficulty in their purchase of a Texas Fairing part for their Hayabusa. There is a solution to the problem.

Our friends in Canada have produced a part which really uses skill and a sense of design. The Texas Fairing part which has the style of a Tug Boat in comparison to the well thought out piece from FSMD. Their product has an integral plate mount(no bogus hardware store angle brackets) I can send you pictures and information if interested, the only glitch with the Canadian company is that their English is a little week but their quality and design sense are not. Ask for Crystal her English is better :)

And for the good part, they actually answer the phone and if they are out they DO CALL you back. I have meet with the owners and showed them the Texas Fairing part at that time I could see for myself the differance.

FreeStyle MotoDesign product is clearly superior in construction, design, and business practice.

For Sale: Copper Texas Fairing part(NEW)
For Sale: Black FSMD part (NEW)
Hemillard@snet.net, will sell the Texas Fairing part below cost.

The company must be based in Quebec.

On behalf of all Canadians, even 70% of the ones in Quebec I apologize for any rudeness or attitude when dealing with English speaking customers. This has been a long embarassing issue for most Canadians. However once you get past the French language red tape you should be O.K.
Apparently it is a law that business be conducted in French, it is has made it awkward for business in Quebec even though many people don't take it too seriously.

As a side note, if Quebec separates the U.S. is welcome to the province.

No...this issue doesn't bother me in the least bit, nope not at all, no therapy required here.

Montreal, but they owners are transplanted from France. They are very nice people and as I said their product is a lot better than their English. Or you can contact the people from the lone star state whose BullS*** is better than their part.

Any way you do it, it's your choice.

IF you need more info or want a FSMD part send me an Email.

Copper TF part for sale. (brand new, never installed $200 plus shipping)

Don, the Texas Fairing part I have is not blemished in any way, the reason I am selling it here is that Texas Fairing is asking a 20% restocking fee, I am against them making any more money off of me. If I return it to them they will only ship it out to you guys anyway and pocket some more hard earned money. When I purchased it I asked about returning it to them if I did not like the looks(style) of the product, they never mentioned a restocking fee then. The unit did not even ship with an invoice. Texas Fairing's business practices are not very good.

I contacted a company in Canada who came to the US to meet me and show me their products,
The Free Style Moto Design part is a superior designed piece(at least in my eyes) and the only problem they have in their Business practice is their week English. They went ot of their way to bring and show me product with no guarantee of a sale. Since they showed up with a black and a copper part I purchased both knowing that they would be a welcome addition for any Hayabusa owner in the US.

So I also have a black piece for sale, at that time they told me $219 was for copper or black painted parts. Since they are now selling these parts for $200 in black I will match that as well.

Texas Fairing - Copper $200
Freestyle Motodesign - Black $200

The copper bike is not being traded in for a 2000, since the service bulletins 108 and 109 took care of the cut out.

KawAbuser - if you have any additional info that is not listed on their web site could you please forward the info to me please? Rear replacement turn signals, ease of installation etc would be appreciated. It's no hurry as this would pertain to my not yet delivered red Y2K.

tds@brightok.net

PS - Someone asked about the parts you have for sale on the Busa mailing list[yesterday] and I mentioned that you had posted info about selling one. (you have two now I see)

The rear signal lights as pictured on the site are larger than the latest version. I will be at the electrical supply tommorrow for heat shrink for the Yellow Box and the FSMD blinker set. I am looking for the correct pigtail that just plugs into the lights(I am not a big fan of silicone rtv).
A new set of English instructions with photos are part of my deal with FSMD and should be done in a week or so(digital camera pictures)
As the originals are not bad but leave a little to the imagination.

The FSMD part requires relocation of the tailight assembly useing all the stock parts(once again a very well thought out design). If anyone has questions on the install Email me and I will be glad to help.
