Newbie here.........best speed of 177.4 mph Not bad for a GEN I with a 250# heavy hitter on it. Pipe/filter/box mod/tune/shifter

Had a blast. Was hot waiting in line when they would run 10 cars to 3 bikes..but they got that sorted out after a while.

I was hoping for a tail wind and not the head wind we were dealing with after Friday.

Suppose to have changed this afternoon there? Not sure if it did.

Not sure if the news has hit the airways yet, but the mile is moving about 30 miles north after this event.

Navy let them get this event taken care of but after that they have to move.
Glad I got to participate in the last Mile at Goliad:cheerleader:

Congrats Rod :beerchug:, It sure is fun down there isnt it?

I got 184.5. If I get a chance to go again I'll head down a couple of days early and have Johnny tune the bike. I was running Brocks street map and running 89. Switched to mr12 on Sunday and Brocks track map and screwed up a little bit on every pass I made with it.

Good speed. Are you running a Gen 1 or 2?

How did your friends that went do?

Glad to see you made it out, wish I could have at least been able to come watch but had to work... :(

Maybe at the new location..

My brother with the gen 2 ran 183. He is stock height, running Brocks street map, SMEG exhaust.

My other brother ran 179 on a gen 1 lowered, stretched 6", Brocks megaphone.

I was hoping you would be able to make it. The new strip is supposed to be Chase field in Beeville. They are trying to figure out the configuration of the runways is what was said in the drivers meeting.

I might add a 1 or 2 lb. bottle to the hole in my swingarm :whistle:

I think I can pick up a couple of MPH by setting up my rear suspension better. I burned a hole in my tail light

When we go back I will be more prepared with a tune and getting the bike setup for the mile.
