Im not gonna be posting anymore on here,because the ADMIN feels my comments re: RIS products were out of line(you wont find them they some how were erased from the thread) and personally that doesnt sit well with me.I was only stateing that the product he was pushing could be found alot cheaper elsewhere,I thought thats what we were here to do,help each other out but it appears this board is becoming like every other one out there and only interested in the sponsers $$ and dont give a sh!t if they are ripping the members off,I dont care what the excuse is as to why they cant sell it cheaper, because of this or that,the facts remain the same.

What are the specifics here? If one of the Mods/Admins edited a post or removed comments there was probably a good reason, even if it was only a matter of perception. We are not in the habit of editing comments that a critical of the sponsors, the Admins or the Board, unless it is an out and out bashing and free-for-all.

How were they trying to rip anyone off? He was not trying to push selling his product direct at all. They are the manufacturer of the part. They specifically said they had 150 dealers and will not undercut their dealers. I personally have a lot of respect for that. He even threw out Steve Smither's Customs name as a source of the product. You went far beyond listing sources that his product was available at cheaper than the suggested retail he was quoting. Your posts were more of an attack than anything. Every one here has the option of buying or not and choosing their source.

What if Suzuki decided to sponsor the board? Would you think they would be "required"￾ to sell direct to board members? At a discount cheaper than what the dealers are?

What about Dynojet Power Commander. They list their PCIII usb @ 349.95 and will sell it for that. You can beat that price. If they came to sponsor the site it would be to boost the sales of the product regardless of the vendor you choose to buy from.

I think that those that can not choose to keep their comments civil in a public forum should refrain from posting. Your comments crossed the line. If you feel you were being picked on, I'm sorry you feelings were hurt. Regardless we are not going to allow the members to turn this board into another smack shack style environment. If you are going to throw comments like that out there then you had better be man enough to take PRIVATE criticism and instructions to scale back your aggression to other members. Sponsors or not.

If you think this site is about the almighty $$ and sponsors"¦.. then you really have missed something the 17 months you have been here. That could not be further from the truth.

Dont let something stupid like this steer you away. I have had my pee pee slapped many of times at different boards, ya just gotta suck it up sometimes. All in all, it is really not an admin or ever Doug who makes up this board, it is the many of great people in this place that do it.
I have made some very good friend at this place. People I would trust my life with.
