Spoiled Busa's 250 is back together after her crash. The thing runs great......but.  After we ride for a while, when she goes to start the bike it wont start (it wont even begin to turn over almost like the switch on the bar is in the off position). Dash lights are on, turn sigs wont work. I mess with the front turn signal wires (unplug them and plug them back in) a few times, and she fires rite up. I dont get it. I does this everytime we stop. Any ideas where to start. Obviously has something to do with the turn signals, but why would that keep the bike from starting?

Oh, it doesnt help to unplug the sigs.

Check for wire harness damage around there, you are probably clearing a short by moving the wires.

Check the flux compasitor

Got it figured out. The sensor that tells the bike when the clutch is pulled in or not is bad. The bike fell on that side so it must have been damaged in the crash. As long as the bike is in neutral and the clutch is not pulled in, the bike starts. If I pull the clutch in, the bike will not start no way no how. I guess when I screwed around with the wires, I must have tried to start it without the clutch eventually. So, I dont think it has anything to do with the signal wires. Its the clutch sensor I pretty sure.
