The front cowl

Is there any special information I need to know to replace the front cowl on my bike? or do I just go with my gut? I will try to do it without the service manual, but I hope someone helps me should I need help.

I have another question. are the high and low beam light bubs different? I went to New Orleans and the dealer down there told me that they were the same, so I bought two of them for about $17 a piece, but just now when I took my front cowl of and tried to replace them, I saw that the high beam one is different from the low beam.

The low beam is the one that fits and it works great.

Yes they both are different

Low Beam: 55W (H7)
High Beam: 65W (HB3) (9005 I believe)

busero, remember to peek into the ram air holes when you have it off and make sure the airbox tubes are lined up. If not see modifications section on this site...

I guess I'll be taking one of the bulbs back to the dealer and exchange it for the HB3.
