The Integrator Kit

Has anyone installed the integrtator on their busa. It uses the brake light as turn signals to rid the back end of those massive flashers.

My biggest concern is safety and visibility.

Yes I have installed it on two busa`s. You need to go get some red reflective tape and tape two pieces together and make a bridge between the bulbs. I guess you could use something else but that worked easily for me. If you don`t you can`t hardly tell which side is blinking. Wired up and worked fine.I`m sure it is not as safe as stock signals but it looks 10 times better without them. It is much more visible at night...I always give hand signals also in daylight.Hope this helps!

My buddy that I was riding with the other day said it works great. Were actaully going to do his bike this weekend. He says he can tell that blinker is on and what way I'm going with no problem.

Are you saying use the converter instead of the Integrator or use both? If so, where else can I get besides Murray's Auto. Don't have those around here.

Don't know what the "integrator" is unless that's the thing Lockhart sells. I just used a Calterm taillight converter which was like $15.00. You can also use the Hoppy taillight converter also just has a couple extra wires you don't need. You can also go to Pep Boys, Autozone, or just about any other auto store. Let me know if you need any help, I just did my last week.

The Integrator is a small kit that is sold specifically to use the tail light as turn signals sells for $60. Has some type of chip with wiring.

I am definately interested in your idea if it accomplishes the same thing. Just so the brake light still works when the turn signals are activated. I do have Auto Zone and Pep Boys. Does it come with instructions?

I think the special thing about the Integrator is that there is a wire to make the brake light pulse which I do not want anyway.

By the way, do you have a fender eliminator or did you modify the stock fender?

The wiring diagram for the taillight converter is the url I mentioned above. The brake lights work like normal so do the taillights and blinkers. It is real easy to do basically your just cutting a couple wires and plugging them into this box. I'll have to try ans get a photo so I can show you and everyone else who wants to see.

As for the rear fender I cut mine out. The kit you buy looks nice and works nice as long as you don't lower your bike. Considering my bike is lowered a few inches it would hit that pretty piece of fiberglass.

Can someone behind you or beside actually tell the difference between left and right signals? (via the brake/tail lights)

Is it really worth it? or just to make it semi legal and clean up the tail end?
