The power of this site

It occurred to me that this site is a very powerful thing.

After reading about all the mods and results It seemed to me that A combo of Air box mod, Akrapovic, PC II, & BMC filter was the best combination to get results without going inside the engine. I wouldn't have known about any of these if it were not for this site. Anyways When I ordered the above ALL were on back order. Each manufacturer said they were suprised by the demand. The PC II, has a backlog of 200 units just for the Hayabusa. Out of what 3,000 bikes?

I think this site filtered the better products out and actually created demand for them. My 'Busa would remain stock if it weren't for this site.

I certainly agree with that. Opinions here and on LaBusas led me to all of those products above, plus many more, such as the clutch mod, Double Bubble, FSMD tail eliminator and hugger, touch up paint, Tapeworks decals, Genmar risers, Sunstar sprockets, Mototek dial faces, Bagster bra/tank bag/seat cover, Sargent Cycle hump pad, Yosh cams, and on and on.

I've never before been so able to select my accessories and upgrades with such confidence.

Plus I've recieved (and hopefully given, too) lots of help with installations and tuning.

I totally agree. With so much diverse input on an issue, things have a way of getting more fully aired and sorted out.

It is a powerful and revolutionary thing, this board and the internet in general. Everyone wins!

I think it's really cool to hear about everyone’s R&D as well as experience from major mods to minor adjustments. I also like to hear about different topics from different points of view. Experts (mechanics & racers) to the novice (me) this site is outstanding.
