The Question of injectors

My thinking goes somthing like this.

Everything is built to a price. Even our beeeeautiful Busa's. If this were not true there would not be a market for third party performance parts.

Does anyone know what micron size spray the Busa injectors produce?

The theory being that a finer droplet size can improve performance, I was wondering if anyone has looked into the economics and efficency of aftermarket injectors, or even if they can be fitted?

Any feedback or opinions?

you can use/get other injectors....

Some Zooks can make use of the great injectors from an RC51 .

For me....I couldn't be bothered....

Hey Ross,
Stock Busa injectors are good for around 230 HP.
If you need more than that, you can go with the Honda S2000, car injectors.
They can support over 300HP.
They are a direct swap for the stockers.
I picked a set up for $150.
They are around $90 each, new.

No need for a replacement on a stock or mildly modded Busa.

Somtimes I feel a little foolish asking these questions but it really helps in working out where to get the best bang for the buck

Sleeper is right on the money... I am running 282 HP and my injectors are at 100% duty-cycle at full boost... which = BAD! I just got the s2k injectors myself, and we are having the flow-tested before sticking them on the bike. I will post a report when available.
 
I'm having injector issues on my '99 so i'm reading all these old threads.

If you swap for S2000 injectors, can you still use your old fuel map or will it go way off?
