The Switch To Synthetic.....

Currently have 1150 miles on the Busa. At what mileage should I do the switch to the synthetic? Had the first service done right at 500 miles. What do you all think? Thanks in advance.

Fine when ever you are ready. Next oil change I would guess would be around 1500-2000 miles.

Alot of people will tell you to wait until about 3000 miles....but your good to go on your next oil change. Many new performance cars come with synthetic from the factory.

I'm currently using Rotella 5w-40 Synthetic. Made for diesels, but strong enough for a 'Busa.

I made the switch to full synthetic once I hit 3000 miles

I put in Synthetic on the 1st service (did it at 570 miles)
