It's bad here too......narcan is issued to almost anyone with a uniform these days due to all the overdoses happening....

I had a nephew die from that Fentanyl crap....he was clean for over a year, got a new room mate who was a user and was coerced into using (doesn't take much for an addict), he took one dose and over dosed and died.....and the ripe age of 24....

It is a big problem. Some of it is absolutely the responsibility of the medical community causing the addiction.

But we have a HUGE problem that's it's streaming in from Mexico across our borders. Mass manufactured by China. None of this is by accident.

It's really sad.

I employed a guy with a Bachelor's degree in Theology, just finished a mission in Japan, with a few previous missions completed.
Based on his background and a reference from his Pastor, I thought he was done with doing missions and it was time to start a career. Thought it was a good opportunity to train someone with a good Christian background.

After about a week, I realized something was not right and it progressed to a stage where the only thing that mattered was financing his habit. One cash advance to the next and it just started growing, until he could no longer function normally. After letting him go, the real personality came out and I was told I am the Devil walking the earth.

Did a bit more referencing and finally the truth was found online. Abused his wife, left her stranded in Japan without the means to return home and abandoned her and his two kids. She was able to put her life back together fortunately.

So much for the church community he was with, they just looked the other way, refused to help his family and avoided the consequences of supporting someone's drug habit with church member donation funds.

Welcome to the USA the Land of the Free or should say Zombies. Just hit up YouTube and watch Zombies from Coast to Coast.
We have a Salvation Army in town and they will provide shelter, food and help but you have to stop the drugs and alcohol first and most won't.

Times are too good. Someday it will change and if we don't get our act together, it will be changed by countries where people live in hard times, such as China, Russia, North Korea, Syria, Iran etc..

Not mine, this is from Michael Hopf, a combat veteran of the US Marine corps.

“Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.”
