Theres been a mishap with your bike!!!

I dropped my bike off at Tricked out cuctom cycles on wed to have and extended swingarm installed,no big deal,right? so I get a phone call 3:30 on fri,I missed it and there was a message "Ron,please call as as soon as possible we need to talk to you"...ok,I figure its ready,but what I hear when I call is "theres been a mishap with your bike"...WHAT DO YOU MEAN A MISHAP!!!, he goes on to explain that one of the guys was walking past my bike carrying "tool" and it gouged (not scratched) my tail...tells me he needed to talk to me to see what I wanted to do,well,what I want is for my bike to look as good when I pick it up as it did when i dropped it off!! the tail section is brand new (fiberglass) just had it painted and just put the decales on it the day before i dropped it off.he said they would fix the problem and repaint the tail again...Im very confident they will do a nice job,they afterall did win the custom sportsbike buildoff on ESPN..($100,000.00 Busa thats sitting on the show room floor)..its just the disappointment that it happend the the delay in getting it back,but I am greatful they told me about it and didnt try and cover it up,the owner Steve,is a standup guy from what I can tell,always available to answer quetions and always on hand at the shop.gonna stop tomorrow and see whats going on,hopefully I will get her back mid week!!

Sorry to see that happen, but at least the shop is standing by you and making it right. Thats definately better than some of the horror stories I've heard of.

Honest Employee...and shop owner. Alot of employees might had just walked off. At least he told someone.

Motosports of Tampa tried to sneak a scratched right lower past me when I bought my first Busa. And it was Brand new off the showroom floor. I spotted it right away. They had to replace the part. It's best to do a few walk arounds before leaving a shop. This guy sounds like the kind you alway want to do business with. Honest.

I think your right,I think the gold bike was a kawi,,they have about 8 bikes on the show floor in the shop,they are all beautiful,and out of my price range,but definately nice to look at,they take them out and ride them pretty often,you see them around the neighborhood,so they just werent made to sit and look pretty!!!
