over the last couple of years with retirement from the Army, starting a new career during COVID and buying a new house. Came up for air briefly in the Spring with the purchase of the new Gen3. She is undergoing some mods still and will be back on the road soon.
Since I was about 8 and leading up to my retirement I had a strong desire to own a Corvette. Got to ride and drive with friends and family in theirs, but never had my own. Circumstances never seemed quite right and then the motorcycle itch became quite an infection. Finally settling down with those and everything else and decided it was time to get my retirement gift.
Couldn't find anything locally, but through several nationwide searches found one in my long-time home, the State of Texas. Very good seller that put up with all my requests for pics and documentation on his 2019 Black C7 GS M7 2LT with Kooks Headers and X-Pipe w/ High Flow Cats, AFE CAI and Ceramic Coating. The car had a very unmolested 14,600 miles on it. We agreed on a price and after the financial transaction was complete was able to get transport arranged through Montway Auto Transport this past Thursday and took delivery today.
Here are a few pics right off the truck. Since I am waiting on the registration documents I am going to install a few accessories (LED interior lights, radar detector with mirror mount, WeatherTech floor liners) and battery tender. Stay tuned for further updates and more pics.
