Thinking about a ride ..

Ok Captains house party is in about a month.. SO... i was thinking, I might just make a long weekend out of it.. (well maybe a week)..

I have crossed the country maybe 50 or more times (long haul truck driver for a number of years).. So the super slab has no appeal to me.. I am going to do this via secondary roads for the most part.. (not practical in parts of the midewest)

Anyway, maybe I can get to meet a few of the .oRgsters on the left side of the country in the first week or so of october..

Any suggestions or ideas? if you are along the route.. maybe we can hook up? This will also give me a chance to hit my old stomping grounds :)

Open to suggestions all the way...

Don't live out that way but, if you ever find your way up in New England you're always welcome.

you already got your bike set up for long hauls all you gotta get now is gps. you never know when one of those will come in handy:laugh:

Better reroute that trip a little to come hit the Black Hills! Then over to the Big Horns & up into Montana.

looks like an awesome ride bro... it took me all summer to put the miles down that you'll have down in a week

I may just take Dons idea, Route 66.. I have run most of it at one time or another but never from end to end at one time.. some sections are not safe for travel anymore but I think I can do the majority of it.. anyone else wanna go? :)
