Okay, just like the "undertail" topic has been brought up a 1000 times, here is just one more for the "exhaust" topic.

I am wanting to get a full exhaust for my `07 Busa. I have no clue what to get, so I figure this is the best place for suggestions. Here is my criteria:

1. Must be a bolt-on kit. I do not want to make any modifications, cuts or welds. :easy:

2. I'm not looking for a super loud exhaust. I really don't want one much louder than stock.

3. I want a good brand, and one that will last.

any suggestions will be concidered. Thanks for your help!

Unless you get something like a sidewinder you wont need to have any special cutting and such. Just unbolting the old exhaust and bolting up the new. Plus getting some PAIR block offs to help with the backfiring.

Find something that looks good to you. Post up what you decided on then we can tell you the pros and cons about it. I can tell you that "X" brand is better then "Y" brand and someone will tell you the opposite. The difference between brands(major) really boils down to looks for most part. I can live with an exhaust system that doesn't give me that extra 1hp if I like the way it looks. That goes for both Bolt-on mufflers and full exhaust systems.

Hope this helps.

There are a variety of Yosh's available that will give your bike a nice sound and are not very verbal. if you choose the dual yosh, they sound close to stock. i have the 4 - 2 - 1, very simple direct bolt-on. i'm talking E A S Y.
if your not wanting loud......stay very far away from a brocks, cuz thats all a brocks does is make noise.

I have the yosh 4 into one and love it. It is quiet until you lay on it hard then it sounds so good and clean. There are so many systems out there I would say start looking for the look you want then see what ones come close and have good reviews. Some are supposed to give more hp then others but I have done some real checking and the amount is not enough to care for and then they will loose in other areas. Be carefull you said you dont want it loud so watch out for those real loud ones there are alot of them.???

It sounds like you need a yoshi. They're one of the quieter full systems, are well made, look better than most, put out good power and have excellent customer service :beerchug:

here is what your looking for.

bolt ons can run you as much as a full system or least close to the same price.
bolt on's will keep the dual look.
if you want the performance a full system is the way to go.

I have had a muzzy i liked it not to loud nice low rumble.
I had hmf dual high mounts didn't care for those 2 much cause all the bolting on stuff. others say they have great sound just not my tast.

i have a brocks bde gen3 street smart nice power band great sound not to loud and not annoying.
so i have heard yoshi's they are compareable loudness to bde.
it is all that you want. carbon fiber. stainless steel. polished aluminium, high mount normal a shorty it is all up to you

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll probably be looking into the Yoshi's. I like the dual look, seems more symetric to me.

Now I just need my income tax money and then I can order.

im currently using scorpion carbon fibre street legaL slipons w/removable db

killerz  love the looks and the sound................

i had yosh slipons and now i have their full system with the carbon fiber pipe. i really like both. i'll be puttin the slipons for sale as soon as i get around to it

Slip ons do not require additional parts and labor that a full system requires..(PC3 and dyno time can easily equal $500 also labor if you have some one else install) So if you are on the performance track, you need to count at $250-$600 on top of a full system..

slip-ons can be had for $250-$600 turn key..

Full systems $900-$1800 PC3 $250/Dyno time $250 (you could get the OEM ecu reflashed and save on the PC3)

My Micron dual slip ons were louder than my compete TiForce system and were I think $300 installed running.. My TiForce was $900 (new) and / PC3 was $200 used..
