Ouch, that's rough to watch.

I really liked the driving style over there. They honk the horn about every 45 seconds whether they need to or not. And, the lane lines are only a suggestion (as are lights and stop signs). Our driver routinely drove right on the lane lines and used his horn generously.
The interesting thing was that no one took it personally nor waved any digits at anyone. It's orderly chaos. And interestingly, I didn't see one accident in a 2 week visit this summer in Beijing.

I was impressed with Beijing.... not so much Hong Kong
 
Thought for a minute there that his head was still in the helmet when it went flying.

Helmet effectiveness can be greatly reduced when you don't fasten the chin strap.

Exact same thing in Malaysia. I saw people riding around on their motorbikes in that chaos carrying 1 yr olds on the gas tank while smoking a cigarette.

But only 2 accidents in the 3 weeks I was there. Crazy.
