Those who have shipped fairings

How did you ship them?

I just sent out a fairing I sold on ebay in a factory box and it cost me $58 UPS ground. I just made the rate the same as others did on ebay ($25)..kind of lost some on that shipping.

Just wondering how other send them and the cost.

Went dim weight huh? It's real hard to figure shipping anymore. Add to that if you put $50.00 ship they think you are ripping them off.

Yeah, I have lost on ship myself.

UPS is looking at size too, not just weight.

Yeah, fairings don't fit evenly or squarely in a box. Can usually ship for about $40 depending on where its going.

I used UPS online to figure it out and they calculated it to around $46. But when I went to the UPS store it was $58...and also 3 pounds less than what I used for my calculation.

Who knows, ...I thought about using a smaller box..but the size of the fairing, you really cant if you want to avoid damage.

i just used fedex to ship my set cost $113 2 boxes 1 29 lbs and 1 23 lbs boxes were 54"x24"x24"

I just put $75 as it maybe that by the time I'm done,boxing,wrapping and shipping with time to make a box...

Shipping has went through the roof in the last few years with no end in sight. Suzuki lowers are the biggest and most expensive to ship due to their size.
