Maybe I am behind the times, but why whenever I post a new thread or reply to an existing thread do I get this:

Ooops an error has occurred
IkonForums has exited with the following error:

Bad index while coercing array into hash

This error was reported at: Sources/Post.pm line 1828.

Please note that your 'real' paths have been removed to protect your information.

This is not an issue when I edit a post, btw.

otherwise (thank you).

This forum has always been fail. Every few weeks the signatures and profile information of everyone gets bugged too.

If your computer is running slow and it takes too long for the next screen to come up that will happen. I had a computer geek clean up my computer and it worked better for a couple of days and then I had to have him come back cause it got slow again and he got it better but again in two days it got slow again for a few days but has been good now for a few weeks. I don't know what made the difference this time but who cares. It's working good and running fast.

Slow computers cause forum errors? No, sorry BIKEDUDE it doesn't work like that. I have these problems with the forums too, but my computer is extremely fast. These errors don't originate from the users, they're a server problem with the forum. All each of our computers does is request a page to display, and perhaps inputs some information when we make a post. All the rest of it is done by the forum program on the server computer wherever hayabusa.org is located.

As far as your computer getting slow? You probly had it bogged down with cookies and spyware. Most uneducated internet users pick up tons of stuff on the net and have no idea about it and simply blame the computer as "getting old" or "getting slow". A good piece of advice is to use Firefox instead of your normal browser.. that will save a lot of headaches right there. Mozilla Firefox

Yeah, after about 10 years of software development under my belt, I can say with pretty good confidence it is not a client hardware or software issue - defintely a server error.

That said, it seems to be working fine now - at least I was able to successfully add a reply with no apparent error.

The comp geek switched me over to firefox and it has worked much better since but even after he did that I still had a couple of days here that were slow but all has been fine now for weeks. This was the only site that I had these slow problems on so I asked in another thread if it was the site or my lap top and one of the administrators said the site was fine and it must be my lap top. I kinda wondered but.....??? Thanks for clarifying this.
