Throttle Grip

Has anyone tried to put "other than 'busa" grips on thier bike? I just installed a set of Heli bars and changed grips to a different pair and ran into the groves and fins on the stock throttle. Is there a different throttle to buy or do you just get creative with a dremel?

Same problem you have when putting on the other grips. Just trim the lip off of the throttle tube end. You may have to trim some on the flare that is on the switch control side of the throttle tube also. Left side usually goes on fine but will have a small anoying gap on the right side between switch housing and grip. Let me know if you find better way.
