Tickover doesn't always happen!

Hi All,

just bought my second Busa, a 2000 with 17k on the clock :)

It seems to have a tick-over problem though, every so often (but often enough to be annoying!) when you're pulling up at the lights or junction etc the engine Stops, cuts out, whatever you want to call it. Just goes straight past any idle speed and dies altogether.
The revs drop as you'd expect but every-so-often they drop to a lower than normal idle for a fraction of a second, then the revs just drop of and the engine stops. If you're very quick you can just catch it before it dies by blipping the throttle a bit.

Before "I" had this problem I'm sure I read somewhere that a Power Commander sorts this out? But didn't really pay attention as it didn't affect me! Has anyone else experience this or found that fitting a Power Commander smoothed out tick-over etc? or is there a simpler/cheaper solution?

My tickover is normal around 1000 but I've moved it up to 1200 slowly. It makes absolutely no difference! :(

Any ideas?
