Well look's like my clutch is on it's way out.. starting to slip in 6th gear only under WOT though.. So time to get a new set of pack's.. Should i just go w/ factory stuff? or is there a good upgrade available? Any opinion's are welcomed.. Thanks...

Go with a stock clutch

Stock clutch. But, you may be able to salvage what you have. When you buy a clutch get 2 extra of the thick plates and buy a set of springs. When you pull the old one out check that the parts are in spec. Bead blast the old steels and set up the total stack to 1.98-2.00 inches. Even if you put all the new parts in, build it to those specs.

thanks for the info fellaz.. there's only 7200 miles on the clutch as of yet.. not much.. but it is my first bike so i was a lil hard on it at first... and it was previously drag raced as well.. so who know's.. 150 bux or so on a new one ain't bad compared to the car stuff.. it's got the brock ultra mod and cushion in there as well.. So.. i'll just throw a new one in and build it to the 1.98-2" you mentioned and go from there.. thanks fellaz u rock!!

Stock clutch plates are very good, get some springs and you'll be in business, like Professor said...The stack should be 2 inches.

The brocks cushion kit will have different springs with it. You cannot use the stock springs with the ultra mod unless you use the .180" spacers or different springs.
