Tinting a shield

My girlfriend has a helmet that only comes with a clear or smoked shield. She want a mirrored one. Can we tint it with limo tint or take it to a tinter to do the job?

all you can do is try. I"ve never heard of anyone sucessfully doing this themselves.

I've heard that the tint won't stay , because the plastic will flex so much . Sorry....

I guess you will just have to step up and get her a new helmet that takes a tinted shield.

Thanks for the advice but, I don't think that will happen anytime soon!!! I really like the helmet I got and he got it for a hell of a deal!!!!

I say YES you can...

Buddy did it to his and it looks flawless.....with that being said because you have to be careful and not scratch it...
