For those guys who've had tip overs..what part of the Busa hits first on the bodywork.

Do the sliders work, the one that can be ordered from Inturace.com

Where is the Hole that has to be drilled into the body work for these protectors/sliders. or the hard point on the bike to put these things on. an approx. location would be Helpful.

Thanks in advance

I tipped over on to the left side of the bike, unfortunately. Fortunately it was a low speed low side on to the left of the bike. The cover for the alternator hit first and took most of the grind saving my leg. The left fairing and left side front cowl took some scratches but did not crack. Because of the low speed the impact was not enough to damage the bike and I still ride with the same plastics attached to the bike. The attachment of sliders to the handle bars would not have saved me or the bike from this same damage. I would suggest, from this experience, that the fairing be removed, sliders be attached to the frame and the fairing be reattached. Even though the scratches on my bike's fairing are not very attractive they were not intentional and I would not suggest anyone ruin their fairing to attach visible sliders. Even though the sliders might be hidden at least the chassis and engine components might be afforded some protection. The alternator cover was replaced at a cost of $68.00 in the U.S. if anyone needs one for the 'busa.
