Tip over sensor

I've got an '05 that's been haiving trouble starting. I put the bike into dealer mode and it posted C23 which is a malfunction with the tip over sensor. It's an intermitent problem and I could never figure it out till now. I found where the sensor is inclosed ("Upper"). The problem is I can't get into to see what's wrong with it or what I need to do to fix it? Does anyone have pictures of how to get to it, remove it or replace it? Or at least be able to walk me through it? :1zhelp:

I have a European model TLR. It contains a tip over sensor, and also a side stand sensor.

Never did anything, but somehow I think the side stand sensor does not work. With my side stand down, I am still able to start my bike

If bike is in neutral it should start with the stand down. not in gear though,unless the clutch is pulled in.

tip over sensor is behind the tank in between the tank and the seat, take the seat off and it is right on the left side surronded by a rubber grommet. it has an arrow which points up
