Tire pressure

Do most of you run the 42-lb. pressure in the tires that is called for in the owners manual? I was wondering if there would be better tire wear with a slightly lower pressure. Here in Illinois I tend to wear out the center of the rear tire in about 1,500 miles.

I think the LEAST wear is with 42. With less more rubber hits the road and thus gets scrapped off faster.

42 - touring, 36 - twisties, 31 - trackdays
