Titanium Yosh RS3 slip ons on their way!!!

LOL. I promised the wife when I picked up the bike a couple weeks ago that I wouldn't mod anything for a year.

But...I was not expecting to find a set of Yosh Slip-ons for under $300.00 bucks. They are on their way from Yoshimura, and I can't wait. Lose some weight. Gain a bit of volume so the cars can hear me a bit in traffic. Can't beat it.

So...the new Busa has been gotten a Pro-Grip tank protector and some new lungs. That truly will be it for now, and possibly forever. I have no intention of turning this one into a project. Just want to ride the death out of it. It is a close to perfect stock as any bike I've ever ridden, and that's quite a few.

I do have a small concern though....anyone have a mild tick from their Gen 2? I haven't narrowed it down yet to whether it is a tiny exhaust leak at the header (Odd for a factory bike with just at 300 miles), or if it is actually the injectors and nothing to worry about. I need to take some time and really scope it out. It is not loud, and only noticeable when you are easing out from a stop. As you crest about 3200k you can hear it if you are paying attention.

Thanks all. I'll post pics once I get the new pipes on.

Congrats ont he purchase...:cheerleader:
And the ticking noise is NORMAL, you are more than likely hearing the injectors

Thanks Tonyj! I figured the noise was probably nothing to sweat. As I said, it is pretty minimal, and all bikes have certain ticks. I can't wait for the slip ons to arrive. Looking forward to having a bit of bark.

Ride well-

I have been meaning to reply to this since last Friday when I initially saw this post. Thanks for your post, I saw this just in time to order before Yoshimura sold out.:beerchug:

X-
So glad you got in on that! The deal was incredible was it not?? I kept asking the Yosh rep,...."now you are absolutely sure there will be two cans in the box when it arrives?". They just laughed. Great folks to deal with, and you can hardly beat a Yoshi on a Suzuki bike. It's like peas and carrots.

Ride well-
