I want to get a tobin within a couple weeks.I love the looks and belive it will be great help in reducing the wrist pain i am getting.I had a corbin on my zx9 and loved it but, had no wrist pain.Just wondering how the comfort is for sitting for 150 miles without stopping.Thanks.

I also plan on ordering a tobin seat very soon. From what I've heard on this board, they are great.

I have had my Tobins seat for 5 months now and I love'em...

I loved my Tobin seats, but they are not the answer to wrist pain. The answer to wrist pain is supporting your upper body weight with your legs, abs, and back...

I got my Tobin about a month ago and it's great when in the riding position. The only complaint I have is the forward sides don't have enough padding. When you put your feet down at a stop the inner thighs dig into the seat and isn't very comfortable. But the answer to that is keep it in the riding position. I think the padding was cut a little short on the sides.
You will be happy with it though.

love my tobin seat BETTER than my gen I gel seat!!!! believe that

I agree with Wayneswa. At a stop whenever putting legs down it gets real uncomfortable on the inner thighs. If my bike was at stock height instead of being lowered, I would have to sell them. They are definetely the best looking seats on the market though.

I didn't care for the Seat, It just wasn't comfortable for me. I didn't like the restrictions placed on me by the Roll across the rear. So I sold it to Cecil Who as you can see, is diggen it... So Although the seat as a good well made piece, I didn't care for it... Hell I tool a knife and sandpaper to a stock seat and shaved my own down.

Oh and it WAS an answer to wrist pain for me. Didn't eliminate all the strain, but it helped reduce it significantly... While you shouldn't be supporting any weight on your arms, the position of your wrists in relation to the controls contributes to fatigue and the lower seat helped me a good bit...

Thanks guys for all the input.I will need to think about it a little more,i did love my corbin on the other bike may go that way again. Thanks again.

I've had my Tobin for a few months, and it is awesome. I took off my gel seat to put it on and couldn't be happier. And on top of everything, Tobin is easy to work with. By advice - put one on order.

Errrrr.

I bought a corbin last year and love it. I have the same complaints above regarding the seat digging in when stopped, and I have long legs. But It's great when you are moving. Chris

I had a corbin for about 2wks, never rode it because it took my feet out from under me, its just about 3/4" wider than stock at the base of the tank, that was enough that I couldnt even tiptoe the bike with a 1.5" drop already. I've considered a Tobin, sat on Dezzy's old one and it felt nice....just not sure if I could stand the rear hump on the seat....on the other hand it does raise the rear of the seat up so you could have your girlie even closer

Think the Tobin is a great seat, but it isn't truly the answer for wrist pain. I never had wrist pain on the stockers, so I can't answer though. Rode on a stocker seat about a week ago and really, really missed the Tobins. Make sure to give him your waist size when ordering and he can probably put some extra padding on the sides if you talk to him. Great to deal with and you won't be disappointed.
