Tobin seat question

Hey guys, I'm finally getting off my duff and ordering the tobin seat. I am thinking of getting the zippered hump pad and was wondering if anyone has it and how they like it? Can you remove it when you want?

I have the hump pad and I think it is great! You can remove it whenever you want, but you have to remove the front seat to do it. The zipper is underneath the back of the seat. The only downside is that if you have the rearseat on, there is no support for the pad, so you just have to throw the rearseat away! j/k!

One of the reason i'm thinking of it is for 2-up sport touring-- looking to provide a little separation for my passenger in the rear. Whatcha think?

I've had mine on for short trips with my wife riding 2up and it didn't work well for me - no support. Doesn't mean you wouldn't like it though. Besides if you don't like it, you could always put it in the classifieds - someone would snatch it up.

just got home from a long week away at work... and here sit my new Tobins on the table....the wife said "gottem on so we can ride."
I too got the hump....hmmm feels funny typing that!
But will let ya know sometime 2morrow.

Didn't have the hump with my first set, but the separation for 2-up riding was nice. I just ordered another set with the hump so we will see how well it works. You will love 'em by the way!

If you are not putting on the rear hump on then there is no point of having the pad... but if you have the rear hump on the pads are good! Tobin rocks ....

I have the hump pad and ride solo all the time, so far. Love the hump pad. Plants you when you twist the throttle...no sliding. Love it.

Plus it looks good to boot.
I don't think it would work too well without the hump though.
