tobin seats

has any one else had this happen to their tobin seats

my side embroider is gloss black thread and is only around around 3 months old ( the bike is only in the sun on days I ride to work, which is 3 or 4 times a week ) It seems to be turning a green tint?

Call them up. Let them know. I hear the guy over there is a cool cat. He may repair or replace.....then again it may be typical for that color thread.

Have a set with that color thread, but only had them on the bike for about a month. Give Tobin a call and see what the deal is.

I have red thread, and it fadded pretty quickly too. I was gonna contact Tobin, but kept putting it off. Now my seat is about a year old and I don't know if he will take care of it or not. Let me know what he says.

I'll give him a call... I love the seats! and hate that it has started to fade on the thread. I do have a spot I can park under a cover at work by getting on a side walk... looks thats going to be the busa's new parking spot at work!

Actually with the right color black it would work very well. I re-toned my green but it took 2 years before it faded at all. I am very picky with my Pearl lime green Dragon so it had to match perfect. Go to a art shop and get colored markers in 25 shades of black.

He is a lil tough guy to establish a communication with

...I had to send him some 4 eMails before he told me when my seats got shipped. ...But all said and done the seats are top class

no thread issues yet...but the leather seemed to be crack/fading.....looking likes it's 5 yrs old ion the first two months...I dropped it cause it hasn't gotten any worse yet...but I took photos.
