Out enjoying the Spanish twisties on my Gen 3 but have completely destroyed my front S22 at 5000km.
I need to beg someone to replace the the tyre today in tne next hour as I want to ride the famous N260 across the Pyrenees to catch my ferry beck to Ireland tomorrow morning. 830km.
Anybody know the torque settings for the front axle, pinch bolts and callipers ? I can give this info to a mechanic, hopefully.
Hopefully I can source a new tyre this morning.
Rear tyre only 3000km on it for reference. Still perfectly oval with even wear. Front - the original tyre, as rear original got a puncture before I left Ireland so new rear fitted for this trip. S22 performance good, great dry grip, managed 42 degrees to the right, a personal best.
Running aporox 38/38 twisties and 40/40 psi straights, depending on conditions.
Any help with torque setting would be greatly appreciated!!
