It was a tough day for me today, seeing as you guys are my extended family I thought I’d share a little personal stuff that I’ve had to deal with….
My old and close friend Jack (known him 46 years) passed away a week ago and today was his funeral, he was buried at a local lawn cemetery and I was one of the pall bearers, but it was really a celebration of his life and achievements (family related) and the fact that he’s free of the pain and frustrations of this world… and the freedom he has now.
Then, this afternoon at 4pm I had my old dog Loui, 18 years, had him from a pup, euthanised at the local vet. Very sad, he was dimented and withdrawn, blind and very wobbly, and had no control over his bowels and bladder poor old boy.
He’s at peace and frolicking in the fields in doggie heaven now.
Boy, what a day. . . Glad it’s done and dusted.

Out for a ride to release some tension and a bit of therapy too.

Hey man, that’s for sharing! I’m glad you got out for a ride too. I’m no stranger to big losses and know it’s not easy.

Extremely sorry to hear about the losses.May the soul Rest in Peace.Stay Strong mate.
Thanks, much appreciated . . .
Sorry for your loss Greg,

It's never an easy day losing two of your friends....hopefully they are both together playing fetch or something.

Makes us remember how fragile and precious life is and really puts things into perspective sometimes.....
Thanks Bill for your words of comfort, and yes, life on Earth is fragile and getting shorter by the day . . .
Thanks so much . . .
Tough couple of days - my thoughts are with you
It's been a build up of weeks for my friend and months for my dog, watching them get weaker was painful, thanks for your kind words . .
Sorry for your loss
Thanks man . . .
Poopy man Poopy
It sure is, but today is a new day and the sun is shining on me with warmth . .
Very sorry to hear Greg.
May the Good Lord bless you.
Thanks so much Marty, and yes, He does bless me every day!
Sorry to hear this brother, get those bikes out and get that therapy as that's about the only thing that helps me.
Thanks, I'm out riding today with my gal on the back, good times are precious and I appreciate every moment of my life.
I am so sorry I have experienced both
Thanks, and I feel for you to my friend, God bless you.
A very tough day, Greg. Loss is always hard, but both of them are in a better place now.
Yes, they are in a better place for sure, and thanks for your warm words.
I am also sorry for your losses. There are no words, but riding helps me in times like this. I hope you have someone who is there to listen.
Thank you my friend, and you are so right! Riding always helps me too!
I do have a very very loving and supportive girl so I'm doin' pretty good.
My condolences to you on both losses, Greg. Glad you are doing some therapy riding around. Keep your head up man.
Thank you Miguel, I appreciate your kind words and I'll be riding the wheels off that V-Strom today lol.
