Tps voltage ?

O.K. I've searched and come up with 1.14 volts as a set point for the throttle position sensor. My question is, is this an actual spec from a manual for a specific year or does this apply to all years? I had my local dealer look it up for my 02 and could not find anything. I did the fault code display setting and when it was adjusted to center the voltage was at 1.06v and when it was set to 1.14v it went to the upper scale. Why am I doing this? Just installed bolt on yoshi's and it's of course, a little lean on bottom and surges a bit and untill I can afford a power commander to correct this I'm just tweeking little things like the throttle bodies, tps, chain adjustment, octane, etc... you know, all the things that don't cost anything except for the octane! There was an improvement when this was done but not a complete sollution to the surge.

Have the stock ECU reprogrammed. Much cheaper than a PC for a single tune, but costs the same every time you make a mod that needs a new map.

I am having similar problem with my 06 bike. 250 miles on it total. I installed Yoshimura 22 Blings and now it surges alot. Did you ever resolve your problem with surging or help it any? Any help or info would be appreciated. I have no idea how you go about getting the stock ECU reprogrammed? Who does that. How much? If I do that I should be OK then unless I install another mod to the motor? Thanks!!
