Trac +6 240 swingarm alignment?

Hey I just purchased a 2000 busa with a 240 +6 Trac Swingarm--my question is for those that have one----my bike has air ride---when I lower the bike to it's lowest position the right side is rubbing but the chain side (left side) sits about a half inch higher. WHY?

My tire also appears to be off center but the alignment marks are both the same on either side----???

I have roughly a 1/4 inch clearance on both the rear caliper support linkage and the chain on the other side---is this common--lots of questions just need some answers thanks!! Bob from INDY

i know that the tire is offset a little dont know about the chain issue

When you lower it to the "lowest position" is it resting on something? If air is completely out the bike might be teatering or shifting to one side. Even a 1/16" could show up larger back at the tail section.

The swingarm will probably (and sounds like it is offset) best thing to do is get some adjustable lowering links if you dont have any and just adjust it up slightly to give a little clearance between the tyre and the fairing.

Soupys adjustable links would fix the problem.
