Went to Cecil Dragway today.. 9.2's at 150.. I had went back up 1 on the front, it killed the bottom end. My 60's went back into the 1.6's.

why did you go back up in the front?

I assumed that with the mods I did over the winter that the bike would be to violent at the start. I have already changed it back to where I was, try and test again this weekend..

Please note, when I changed the gearing it killed the bottom half. Last year I gained .15 and 2.5mph when I had it geared right. I would expect this weekend (weather permitting) that I should be in the 123 & 153 range with a 9.1-ish ET. I am trying to be patient until I get her dialed back in. The bike pulls much harder in the 10-11.2 range now, I just have to get it geared to keep it in that range to ET.

As you can see, I am not carrying the gain in mph I have at the 1/8 through the quater. We believe its still a fuel mapping issue. I have always assumed 1mph gain in the 1/8 equals 1.5 in the qtr. I haven't seen those results yet, so more dialing to do.

PS This is on 92 octane, I am reserving the MR2.2 for when the bike is closer to being dialed.

378/330 cams
12.5 compression (stock bore)
Ported head

I really need to re-learn the bike. I blistered off a few 125's in 1/8 mile and a few 154's in the quarter, but need to settle down and get it dialed in.

Based on my estimates, the mph it strong enough to get it in the 8's as soon as I can execute a decent launch. Playing with gearing and body placement in the saddle..

Seat time and practice. I'm not nearly as fast as you. I've put new exhaust on a completely stock bike other than a box mod and just went 9.76 @ 138. I know there is more there with some more experimentation. We'll see. Keep us posted!!

8secBusa, I just read where you're still stock bore - I thought you were 1397 too. You're running extremely well to be stock bore. Your mph is close to my mph with a 3 mill in the 1/8th(125~127) and not off by much in the 1/4th(155~157).
