Trade-in value of \'99 \'Busa ??

I've got a '99 'Busa with 1000 (yep, just 10e3) miles on it, stone-cold stock, with the cam-tensioner recall done on it. Never dropped, broken in responsibly. Basically, it's in pristine condition.

What would be a fair trade-in price at a Suzuki dealer? MCN says approx. $9000 for used price; how does that translate to trade-in?

I asked my dealer about a trade for a CBR929, and he told me he would give me about 8500 for my Busa. I said no way and decided to keep enjoying my big-bore hp. My Busa has 2000 miles on it with a full Yoshi pipe with Dynojet box.
