Transmission?

Having problem with 2nd gear bucking? Its not my power commander I checked. Any ideas? If I put bike on a rear stand and roll on 2nd gear it wont do it. But if im on the bike it bucks like 2 or 3 times. It work rsight through. It doesnt pop out of 2nd either. Its an 06 with only 6000 miles

rounded gear dogs , bent shift fork , send out the trans to be undercut , i didnt have any luck with warranty all it did was delay my repair

i paid 1500 dollars dealer pulled my trans and sent it to r and d in florida , there are places that will do it cheaper , motorhead at shorg quoted me 800 drive in /out same day , yeah to save 700 dollars and have my bike back same day i would have driven to ohio ! if you are not afraid to pull the motor and split cases well you could get away with 200 to 400 dollars go for the undercut trans so it doesnt happen again , heavy duty shift fork and billit shaft would be good also if you plan on any more hp in the future ?

check your local shops out there , there should be one that will do the job quick and correct for the right price !

2600 is that with all oem parts ? i belive thats the price they gave me when they offered me 400 dollars toward the repair .

Mine was under warranty so I paid nothing but they paper work they gave me said $2600.

yeah i almost shid my pants when they handed me that estimate and told me it was not under warranty ! i had not made my second payment yet !

Went through this also. They did'nt pay a dime for mine. $1200 out of my pocket. But, i sent mine of to Fast by Gast for tha pro cut. Good luck with it !
