TRE and speedometer correction

So, it has been a while since i have posted here, but I turn to you guys again.  I have an '02 Busa with a PC3r and Full 4-2-2 Two Borthers Racing Exhaust with a K&N Air Filter.  2 Questions...

1.)I want to tweak more performance out of the bike, I do alot of Highway riding.  I have heard that since I use the PC3r I wont benefit from the T.R.E.  IS this true?  What is the ultimate reason for a TRE?  IS it simply to smooth out gearing or is it to remove the limiter or both?  I definitely don't want a limitation on the top speed as I will be adding turbo and nitrous and plan on going to the track some day soon.

2.)Also, I KNOW the spedometer has to be off in its readings.  Will the speedo healer fix that?  ANy other suggestions?

Thanks!

1) you dont need the TRE with your powercommander unless you want to go over the restricted speed

2) the "YELLOW BOX" is the popular device used for correcting speedomeder error, stock geared or not. it is adjustable.

3) welcome back! :D

One tooth down on the counter sprocket...am I'm running slower of faster than speedo indicates? I'm guessing slower?

Sure you don't.... all you need to do is tell me exactly how much ignition retard there is in gears 1-4. Then you just insert those values into your DJ PC-3r table.... of but wait, it's a limited amount (range of positive/negative numbers) that you can insert, and then it's only for all gears.
