Three6t, the computer may/may not be the same but the principal and the GPS (gear position switch) is, i.e. all Suzuki FI engines from 2000 up (according to my info, it could even be earlier) use the same resistance values for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on and use these to determine which timing map is used.
The only issue is that typically for any other Suzuki model the value used is 6th (15 kilo ohm) this will work on the 'Busa but to get past the speed limiter you need to use 5th (6.8 kilo ohm).
