I don't like rear brakes you can lock up without trying REAL hard. Hayabusa stock rear brake locks up way too easy for my taste.
And...I'm always trying to peel a little weight off the beast.
Lee's Cycle took my rear disc, sliced it lengthwise [1/2 the original thickness], drilled out the holes much larger, chamfered the edges, etc., beautiful job, $100 for the disc.
1/ Works fantastically well, can now use it in corners with confidence, and
2/ Removed 4.6 pounds. Lee's uses them for racing at Willow Springs, no warping or longevity problems. Also looks great.
