Triple tree chrome caps

Hey everyone, this will be a very simple question for you. I will be replacing my upper Triple Tree, the 4 bolts with the chrome caps, Do the chrome caps just pop off? I don't want to mark them.

They just pop off, but use somethng soft like a credit card or plastic putty knife to get em off.

get ready to replace them unless you're careful. i had one stick and dorked it up. replaced them with black ones from Lowes...
