i have a 2008 silverado and when i let it sit for about two days the battery will be dead. took it back to the dealership and they found nothing. i have an aftermarket jvc in-dash and one of the guys there said it could possibly be that. anyone ever had this problem or know what it could be.

You could have a dead cell on your battery. As long as no lights are staying on on the radio, that shouldn't be the problem.

Put a clip on amp meter on the positive cable and see what it is pulling when it is not running. If you have a significant draw, find it. If not, its the battery.

Check make sure no dome light or glove box light is staying on.... make sure the brake pedal or switch isn't letting the brake lights stay on after you park it... If your trucks sits for a couple days without use try disconnecting the battery an when you going to use it again reconnect it see if it starts at least then you will know if your truck is killing it.

PS I love the Chevy Silverado sweet ride post a pic

Also make sure the radio is connected properly an that it goes to sleep when the ignition is turned off
