Hey everybody.

I just got my exhaust and other little goodies recently and I am very happy with the results....I know I know I haven't posted pics yet but it has been crappy here with rain and such, But.....

I was thinking of installing nitrous and running that for a year or 2 and then getting a Velocity racing turbo kit. Just wanna get used to the power slowly, plus my wife said it was either a turbo this year or a sled so I bought the sled..lol

Now, my question is....Is it worth buying the nitrous and using that for the next 2 years or should I just wait? The reason I am asking is that I haven't seen anybody run a turbo and nitrous at the same time. Unless I missed someones post.

Any thoughts???

Go NOS, Turbo, and supercharger. Make sure you check the blinker fluid as well

You can use NOS with Turbo; but usually you do that when you didn't buy a big enough turbo kit...

The NOS is cheap, but you run out quick... I would save the dollars and go turbo when you can.

Okay, but if I did go with nitrous, and I did a small shot would I lessen the life of the engine once I did go turbo?  I only have 3400km's on Laquisha, and my tuner said that the young engines usually hold on a lot longer than older ones for turbocharging.

I have researched nitrous quite a bit and you will probably say no, but some people have different oppinions than others.

I have nitrous now, a ZEX system, 45 shot, so like 36 hp on the dyno. I loved it, but I just purchased a smaller turbo system for it, though now I am not going to run the nitrous with the turbo, as 240 is plenty for me!

Check out this link if you want to see the nitrous pictures

Lots fo good things with NOS. You can find a Dry system for not a lot of money. You wil have lots of fun with it until you are ready to go turbo. the nice thing about NOS is the bike is set up stock (with mods pipes etc.) and then to allow the NOS to come on. You will not nmake it with 2 years if you are looking to add more power. the bug will get you before that.
