Will get better pics up this weekend. This is the blue car.
Picked this up for more dune time, used a couple times, needs a good tune and with new job did not have much time to find a tuner. The few times I could get to the dunes just used our LS sand car. Getting serious now to get this car up to par.
Car is a 2007 Short Sand Car with a turbo hayabusa. This is our second Short Sand Car with last one being a single seat no suspension that started as a stock gs1100 and had HeadsUp build it into a 1395cc big block race motor with a 100hp shot of nos. Freaking fast, but as a dune car it was a workout. As reliable as the day is long, thrashed on that car for entire weekends. Had it for 15 years.
This newer two seater is a 2007, rides very smooth, starts and runs well, but power hits and falls off quickly. The turbo boost knob does nothing and have taken the Turbo plumbing off and cleaned all. All appeared well. Couple auto mechanic buds think the issue is in the computer and will need a tuner and a dyno to fix this issue.
Going to root around here hoping to find a great shop that can figure this out and get er up to speed. Willing to travel from a bit for this.
While my street bike is a v-twin, there are very few sounds better than a big inch in-line 4 cyl.
