Two 3-Amp Fuses in the Tail Section?

Does anyone know what these are for? (Note: there are 2 harnesses required to plug in the factory alarm option. One of them is easy.)

I don’t know off the top of my head but I’d guess the service manual has the answer. There is a pdf version in this forum you can download for free.
I looked around, but I couldn't find anything. The manual has a lot on the standard immobilizer for some markets, but I'm just guessing that those fuses are alarm related. "Only" 3a eliminates some optional things?
 
I just checked and one of the fuses is a spare and one is 'active'.
Maybe in some markets, this has a different connector for the alarm. The alarm and the harness are both 2-wire. I'm NOT going to pull out the alligator clips and jump test it.

Yeah I think you’re right. Looks like Japanese market “option” hahaha. Look at the 1 amp fuse next to it- the “etc fuse” :laugh:
