Two Brothers Slipon Help

I installed new titanium slip-ons that I found online for a whopping $526 shipped. Neither slip tube was marked L or R from the factory, so I called Two Bros and they told me the longer pipe goes on the left (left while sitting on the bike). After installing both, the right pipe sticks off the back nearly 3" more than the left.

I called them back and he said that was wrong and that the longer pipe goes on the right. I have not switched them yet but figured I would check with people here for the "correct" answer. It would seem to me that if I were to put the longer slip pipe on the right, it would make it even worse. Two Bros told me some kits went out like that without marked slip pipes.

I am attaching a picture to hopefully make it clear.

Did you put the tags on them or did they?
Tags have to face out so if they canme with tags on them they are mounted right.
Check to be sure that your lower mid pipe is bottomed out underneath and didn't slid back don't know if you loosen clamps...

The tags came on the pipes. They strangely mismarked the right pipe with an "L", as the tag would be facing in if I put it on like that. You do have to attach the slip tubes to the exhaust.

Both slip tubes are all the way down on the header too. Have not rode it yet. Everything else from the back looks fine and lines up. Just the length issue.

The cans should be the same length, make sure they are. If one is shorter than the other, then it would seem you've got a shorty can and a regular can. This is of course assuming that everything else is mounted correctly.
