two step/launch control

Can these damage the bike at all? What are the pros and cons of using one? Any experience with them personally?

I have never had any damage occur due to a 2 step or launch control.I have ran them on dragbikes over the years,and currently running one on my turbo busa with a multistage lockup clutch.The 2 step makes for a very consistent launch.The only con I can think of is they are illegal for streetbike class at some races.

Personally I love it. We run a dragbike and it is consistent as all get out.

We've been running one for several years with no problems.
