So, I want to say that this problem has started since I layed my bike down which was basically at a stand still and not hard my any means. But if the bike has been sitting for a couple hours and I go to sit on it start it up, and as I am bringing the bike off the kickstand and at the saem time turning the handlebars straight the bike all of a sudden dies but I hear the fuel pump and the cluster resets. So, its dieing but power returns right away and liek I stated its basically happening as I'm bringing the bike off the kickstand and turning the handlebars straight to get ready to take off. It will only do this if I let it sit.

I took it to the dealership and the guy said he adjusted something wiht the throttle or the cable, and it looks liek it didn't help. The idle is high at 1200 btw so I ruled that out.

PS- Sidenote the FI light came on the day I took it to the dealership but it turned off so they couldn't pull the code. I was also having problems with it that day when coming to a stop with the clutch in slowing down to a couple MPH it would just die. It hasen't come on since that day and the mechanic said it could have come on from the stalling.

Please help me

dies when you turn the bars...

did you go down on the right or left?

I'm thinking damage to the bar's kill switch circuitry. Also check the side stand circuit/relay , and also the tip over switch, and circuits.

Did I tell you I owe DNGrumpy 500.
And I will be in FLA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

like Rub said...sounds like either the tip over switch, kill switch could even be ignition wiring or a combo of the sort...electrical issues suck but arent impossible to find...good luck!
