This week, the UK removed The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offended' the Muslim population which claims it never occurred.
This is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving into it.

It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended.

This e-mail is being sent as a memorial chain, in memory of the six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned, starved and humiliated while the German and Russia peoples looking the other way!

Now, more than ever, with Iran, among others, claiming the Holocaust to be 'a myth,'
it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets.
This e-mail is intended to reach 40 million people worldwide!

I'm sorry, Del. That is very disheartening news. I'd heard several reports lately that this was being considered but I had no idea that it had progressed to this stage. The only news I catch with any regularity from your side of the pond is when I leave the BBC on after Top Gear is over. Though they usually seem more concerned with what's happening in Pakistan than what's going on in Britain, they're still a damn sight better than anything Fox or CNN or MSNBC has to offer.

How does this decision seem to be affecting Israeli/Muslim relations in Europe? I know they're on unsteady ground as it is. I can't imagine this reactionism from the UK government will help matters at a diplomatic level.

My question is; how does this affect Holocaust studies and their subsequent programs at universities which receive federal funding? Surely, this revision of history will only apply at primary and secondary schools (elementary and high schools in our country). Or are we talking about a total ban at the selective and university level?

I believe we will soon reach a point in our country when the Muslim apologists will force the same decision in our schools. Any educational system that insists Intelligent Design be taught as a legitimate theory along side evolutionary science and tasers it's students when they ask the uncomfortable questions can't be far from eliminating the Holocaust from it's "history" curriculum.
