Day spa gift certificate. Or pedi/manicure gift certificate.
A day shopping for only stuff SHE wants for herself.
I personally want a new camera or a new cell phone..or some dishes that I collect that I found on ebay.
She been oogling anything recently?
Spa Days are always awesome! massasge, mani, pedi, hair, one or all is always appreciated by all moms!
I'm out of the norm so I don't think I much agree with that. If you're that kinda girl it's good, but for me, I'd never find the time & it would be a waste. Buy me things "I" want, like race bike parts!
(btw, this year my husband and daughter bought me some new street riding leathers. You know how I know, cause I ordered them & told them that's what they're buying me!
They're also taking me out to dinner at our local Pizza joint, cause that's where
they want to eat. I get dinner & don't have to plan it so it's all good! Maybe we'll even ride there just for fun!
)
I think it's all about paying attention to what the recipient likes. Spend time with Mom. Do what she wants to do & never does. Buy what she likes & never buys for herself. If you really don't know, just ask. "hey Mom, what would be your idea of the perfect Mother's Day" and then do at least some of it.
I sent my Mom-in-law flowers. She has "everything", she loves flowers. If you love flowers then a fresh bouquet every week wouldn't get old. Mom-i-l likes to be remembered & surprised. Her flowers will get there tomorrow!
For her the only thing better would be if we could deliver it to her ourselves.
If you really don't know then print a picture of you & your bike. Go to walmart & buy an I love you frame, stick the pic in it & give it to Mom. She'll get a pic of someone she loves and it will be "made" special just for her.
Mom's are usually pretty easy. They just like to be remembered, thought of and just have a little thought put into what ever you do.
