I'm thinking of moving the "L" plate inwards a bit in case the local PD has a problem with no light.But I think the tail light being right on top should sufice.Wire in the resistors for the turn signal this evening went together no problem.

Anyone wired in a GI-PRO TRE? I guess I have to lift the tank to get to the harness then a hot lead to the battery.

If necessary it would be pretty easy to wire up an LED to light up your plate - there are lots of configurations avaialable - Custom Dynamics has lots of little LED's that would work.

I take it that's a smoked tail lens? That come with the undertail?

Very nice bike!!! - I'm jealous of the black frame and swingarm.

I'm seriously thinking about 1st seeing IF the new 08 is actually gonna be something special... if not... I think I'll be trading my 06 up for an 08 Gixxer 1k. It's lighter, just as fast, better in turns, better for stopping... just better. No denying it. But... I'm waiting to see if the Busa gets a facelift and gut check in 08 first.

The tail light started off clear,I didn't l;ike the look so I used a spray tint and sprayed the "Inside" of the lenz with about 3 good coats to get the black look it's very dark and looks good with the rest of the bike.
