Update...fiona's mum

We heard today that Fiona's Mom has taken a turn for the worse. She suffering from hypoxia, and her health is failing. Her heartrate is high and she has a fever. She isn't responding to anything. The doctor doesn't expect her to make it much longer.

Fiona's taking really hard, but she's a real trooper. She's upset, but holding on. At this point we're just waiting Fiona's mom to pass on and join her husband.

More bad news: Fiona's dad has only had 3 years of peace, and now this.

That is what's keeping Fiona's sense of humor going.

It's a comfort to Fiona that her mom is somewhere that they can let her go without the suffering, like her dad went through.

We got a call from Tasmania, letting us know that Fiona's mom, Joan, has passed away this morning.

About 0300 PST we got the bad news. Fiona’s not doing to well, for obvious reasons, but she’s being a real trooper. About the only thing that brings Fiona peace is that her Mom and Dad are together now, and not suffering any more.
